Getting to TMS treatment from Suffern
Suffern is at the western edge of Rockland, where Route 59, the Thruway and the Ramapo Mountains meet, and our New City TMS office is about eighteen minutes east. That is a little further than some Rockland towns, but it is a predictable drive with two good options, which helps when you are making the trip several times a week. Suffern residents know the village for the Lafayette Theatre and the busy stretch of Lafayette Avenue near Suffern station, and many work in Mahwah, along Route 17, or commute by train. TMS fits around that kind of week better than people expect: sessions are short, you drive yourself, and our evening hours on Mondays and Tuesdays plus Saturday mornings give you room to work around a job. Your treatment is supervised by a board-certified psychiatrist who stays involved from the first consultation through the end of the course, and medication management and therapy are available in the same practice. If depression has held on despite medication, book a consultation. We will look at your history honestly and check your insurance before anything starts.
From Suffern: take NY-59 east, then the Palisades Parkway north and follow signs toward New City; or take Route 202 east through Montebello toward Pomona and continue south into New City. Turn onto Congers Road; the office at 216 Congers Road, Suite 302 has free parking. Expect about 18 minutes.

What is the best route from Suffern to the TMS office?

I work in Mahwah or along Route 17. Can I do sessions after work?
Yes. The New City office is open until 7 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, which many Suffern-area commuters use.
Is there a TMS clinic in Suffern itself?
